Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will once again share the screen in Suhana Khan’s debut film King. This is the fifth time they are working together. The fans have increased enthusiasm for this film directed by Siddharth Anand, especially after Deepika joined it. Earlier there were reports that Deepika will do a small cameo in King, but now it has been confirmed that she will have a lead role in the film.
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan already wanted to take Deepika in the lead role, but he could not confirm it due to the schedule. Padukone took a break after her child’s birth and was focusing on her fitness. However, since the schedule of the film has been delayed, its availability has become possible. Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year, Pathan and Jawan will be followed by King Shahrukh and Deepika’s fifth film. King is likely to be released in the second half of the next year. It also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Jaideep Ahlawat. Shah Rukh’s fans are very excited about this film, as her daughter Suhana is also making her debut with the film produced by her father.
