Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ was scheduled to release this December, but to avoid clash with Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s film, it has been released on next Valentine’s Day. It has been decided to release it on 31st January only.
Jiah’s Valentine’s Day release date benefited Shahid. Therefore he wanted to release his next film on the same date. But, the schedule of ‘Deva’ also got disrupted as Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ was released in February to avoid clash with ‘Pushpa Too’.
Both Vicky and Shahid are going through a weak phase in terms of professional success. In such a situation, they cannot let the collection of the film go down. Therefore, it is believed that these dates may have been adjusted.
