Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s pictures with former Pakistan Prime Minister and jailed PTI leader Imran Khan’s son Kasim Khan, BJP MP and former Minister Anurag Thakur surfaced on the internet. The viral pictures are from the the India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium Which took place on Sunday (February 23).
Internet users are slamming BJP leader for sitting beside the former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi and the pic of Shahid Afridi posing with Imran Khan’s son has come as a surprise for the fans as Afridi has many times criticised former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The internet users reacted to the viral photos. Anurag Thakur is being widely criticised on the internet for sitting beside Afridi in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium during the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan. One of the users said, “Anurag thakur with afridi, but if rahul gandhi or any congress leader sith with muslims then ###rona start from BJP leader.”
Another user repeated his slogan from the Delhi Elections. He said, “Desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro saalo ko.” Another user said, “If it had been any Congress leader instead of Anurag Thakur, Bhakts would have declared him Anti-National by now. Shahid Afridi calls Kashmir a part of Pakistan.”
One of the users reacting to the viral pic of Shahid Afridi and Kasim Khan said, “Kasim Khan shouldn`t have accepted the request of this below-average person for a photo. Celebrities like Kasim Khan need to be selective when random chapris ask for photos.” Another user claimed that Shahid Afridi requested the photo with Kasim for publicity.
The user said, “I bet you the looser on the left wanted a picture with the boy on the right, for publicity.” “Disappointed, Kasim your father is their custody and you should not have done that,” said another user.
Kasim is seen smiling and posing for the photo with Shahid Afridi. His father Imran Khan is in jail since 2023 after his arrest from the Islamabad High Court by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on charges of corruption.
Who Is Kasim Khan?
Kasim Khan is Imran Khan’s second son with Jemima Goldsmith who was born on April 10, 1999 in England. Imran Khan and Jemima’s marriage ended in 2004 after nine years of being together. The marriage produced two sons, Sulaiman Isa who was born on November 18, 1996 and Kasim Khan.
Jemimah returned to England after the divorce with their two sons. Imran Khan reportedly described the six months of the divorce process and the six months after as the hardest year of his life.
