Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Deepika Padukone shared their life and film career struggle in this session named ‘The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler’.
Shah Rukh Khan openly told that when his films flop, he consider it as his personal failure and due to this, he gets mentally broken. Shah Rukh said, “When my film flops, I think I have disappointed those fans who have been supporting me for 35 years.”
He also shared an interesting incident, in which he said that there was a time when he started thinking seriously about leaving the film world. Karan Johar offered him a film, in which his character was seen wearing a skirt throughout the film. This story was of the time when men wore skirts. Shah Rukh said in a funny manner, “At that time I told Karan, you also write the script and wear the skirt too.” All the spectators laughed fiercely on this matter.
Both Deepika and Shah Rukh were present in this session were also special because both of them have made their place in Bollywood without any film background. Today, Deepika and Shah Rukh are not only the country, but are known for their strong fan following all over the world. Both stars are among Bollywood’s highest grossing actors.
