Sonu Sood starrer Fateh released last Friday, and the film has done a decent business at the box office during its first weekend. The movie collected Rs. 10.71 crore in three days which is quite good. During the trailer launch, and even during promotional interviews, Sonu had stated that he is planning to make Fateh a franchise, and there are already talks for Fateh 2. Sonu has directed Fateh, and it looks like he has already started planning the sequel.
The actor recently did an interaction with his fans on X and during an interaction he also hinted that he might get Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to star in Fateh 2. A fan asked Sonu, “Salman Khan launched your trailer how does he feel about the success the movie has achieved?”
To this the actor replied, “Salman is like a big brother. For Fateh -2 will request him for a special appearance.”
Another fan shared a picture of Shah Rukh Khan and Sonu, and wrote, “Fateh 2 Ki photo leak Ho gyi!” To this the actor replied, “Fateh 2 is all set.”
Sonu shares great rapport with Salman and SRK. He has worked with Salman in Dabangg and recently was also seen on Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar. With Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu had starred in Happy New Year, and he also shares a good rapport with the King Khan.
Well, it will surely be interesting to see Salman and Shah Rukh in Fateh 2 along with Sonu Sood. Whenever SRK and Salman have come together on the big screens they have created magic. The two have done cameos in each other’s movies multiple times. So, it won’t be surprising to see them do a cameo in Sonu Sood’s Fateh 2.
Fateh marks the directorial debut of Sonu Sood, and it also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Dibyendu Bhattacharya. The movie has received mixed reviews from the critics, but the audiences have been praising the movie a lot.
