Seven people have died due to gas cylinder explosion in Bhalwal taluk of Sargodha district of Punjab. In which 14 people were injured. The injured were taken to Bhalwal Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital. The dead bodies have also been taken to the same hospital. Significantly, out of the seven people killed in the accident, five have not been identified.
All seven people died on the spot, Dawn newspaper quoted the rescue 1122 control room as saying. At the same time, 14 people have been seriously injured. Officials told that the incident is of Bhalwal tehsil of Sargodha district of Punjab.

According to the information, the injured were taken to Bhalwal Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital. The dead bodies have also been taken to the same hospital. Significantly, out of the seven people killed in the accident, five have not been identified. The injured included two children aged between four and 12 and two people in their 50s. Rescue 1122 informed that they received a call alert about the incident at 8:35 am. Nine ambulances, three fire engines and one rescue vehicle were rushed to the spot.
Acting Chief Minister ordered an inquiry into the incident
Punjab’s acting Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed grief over this accident. Also, he ordered an inquiry into the van fire incident and sought a detailed report from the Commissioner and RPO (Regional Police Officer) Sargodha. Mohsin Naqvi has directed the concerned authorities to provide best treatment to the injured. Earlier in June, at least five people, including three children, were killed and seven others were injured in three separate gas cylinder blasts in Pakistan.
