Stock Market Closing Bell: After yesterday’s major decline, the stock market was seen to improve today. Today, after a decline of 2227 points, the Sensex saw a gain of 1089.18 points today. The Nifty also managed to shut down at a significant support level of 22500 again. The improvement in the global stock market also saw improvement in the local stock market.
After climbing 1721 points a day, the Sensex finally closed at 74227.08 up 1089.18 points. While the Nifty rose 374.25 points to close at 22535.85. Along with this, a recovery of Rs 7.42 lakh crore was observed in the capital of investors. The BSE Midcap index closed up 1.87 percent and the smallcap index 2.18 percent.
3093 shares improve
Today, out of a total of 4083 shares in the Sensex, 3093 shares were in the rise and 871 shares closed down. 52 stocks reached the highest level of the year and 54 stock reached the lowest level of the year. The index increased by more than 2 percent with an increase in energy, FMCG, telecom, capital goods, consumer durables, oil and gas and realty shares.
Reason behind improving stock market
- Today, domestic market boom due to big gains in American and Asian markets
- Tomorrow the RBI MPC meeting will be decided on interest rates, in which the repo rate is expected to be cut by 25 percent. This has given a positive attitude in the market.
- Crude oil prices have declined due to tariffs.
