India has successfully tested the state -of -the -art indigenous ‘Bhargavastra’ system to easily compete with drones and micro drone attacks. , Today (14 May), four tests were conducted at the Sevard firing range in Gopalpur, Odisha and all four were successful. The success of this rocket designed by Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited (SDAL) is a major achievement for India.
Micro rocket tested three times
Three tests have been conducted by the counter-drain system ‘Bhargavastra’ in the presence of senior army air defense officers in Gopalpur. In the first two trials, the system fired one rocket each, while in the other Salvo mode, two rockets were fired within two seconds, with all four tests successful and the necessary launch parameters were obtained.
Features of Bhargavastra
Bhargavastra is a multi-level anti-draone system that has the ability to easily detect and destroy small and fast-moving drones. It also has the ability to identify small drones from six to 10 kilometers away. Bhargavastava includes radar, electro-optical-infrared sensor and RF receiver, so it can also destroy the drone from 2.5 kilometers away.
