Pappu Lohra, a big leader of Jharkhand Jan Mukti Morcha, and 2 Naxalites have been killed. Pappu Lohra had a reward of 10 lakhs. The police has given information about this. These Naxalites were killed in a joint operation of CRPF and police.
Palamu Deputy Inspector General of Police YS Ramesh said that two Naxalites were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites. Police have recovered their bodies. The Superintendent of Police of Latehar started a search operation after receiving information about Naxalite Lohra and his associates being in Latehar forest.
5 Naxalites killed in Gadchiroli
5 Naxalites have also been killed in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. An encounter between the Unit C-60 and the Naxalites of the security forces took place. In which 5 Naxalites have been killed. In the last few days, security forces have intensified their campaign against Naxalites. The Central Government and the Union Home Minister have also spoken about the complete eradication of Naxalism.

Earlier, Naxalite leader Shankar Rao was also included in 29 Naxalites killed in Kanker district on 16 April 2024. He had a reward of 25 lakh rupees on his head. At the same time, a Naxalite leader was killed in Bijapur in January 2025, who had a reward of Rs 90 lakh on his head. Earlier on 18 November 2024, security forces killed Vikram Gowda in Hebri area of Udupi district of Karnataka. Vikram Gowda was a leading Naxalite leader in South India. Now it is the turn of Madavi Hidma among these dreaded Naxalites. He is the most notorious and Naxalite leader in the country. He is the mastermind of the 2010 Tadmetla attack. 76 CRPF personnel were killed in this attack.
Regarding the murder of Nawaballa Keshav Rao alias Basavaraju, Home Minister Amit Shah has said that in three decades of India’s anti -Naxalism war, our security forces have killed a general secretary level Naxalite. Home Minister Amit Shah has clearly stated that by March 2026, India will be Naxal -free. Naxalism continues to end after his announcement.
