The Directorate of Education said in a circular issued on 27 February that the admission process for EWS, DG and CWSN categories should be conducted through computerized draws in the entry level classes (nursery, KG and class 1) in private non-aasted schools. It states that the admission process should be completely computerized. There should be no scope for any kind of human intervention at any level.
In the circular, individuals or institutions who make false claims have also been warned to influence or guarantee admission under the respective categories. It states that the general public is informed that such claims are misleading. People are advised to avoid joining such illegal institutions.
The Directorate of Education said that any information or complaint about such activities should be made on the official email of the department for appropriate legal action. All private non-aasted recognized schools have been instructed to stay away from having any official or informal relationship with such individuals, organizations or institutions. It has been said that if a school is found involved in such activities, then the Directorate of Education will take strict action against it.
