Arvind Kejriwal and his team have suffered a crushing defeat in the Delhi assembly elections. Many big leaders of AAP lost the election, including former minister Satyendra Jain. He was defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Karnail Singh by a big margin of about 21,000 votes in Shakur Basti assembly seat.
Karnail Singh interacted with the media after the victory and said that it is not his victory, but the victory of the people of Delhi. Targeting Kejriwal, he called him a “magician” and said that “his magic cannot last long.”

After winning from Shakur Basti assembly seat, Karnail Singh attacked Arvind Kejriwal and AAP government fiercely. He said:

This victory is an indication that AAP’s grip has weakened and the people of Delhi have rejected the Kejriwal government.

Karnail Singh while attacking Arvind Kejriwal said that the people of Delhi have now come to know their truth.

The defeat of the big leaders of AAP shows that the base of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi is weakening.
