Actor Sandeep Rajora, who currently plays the role of Madhav Poddar in the hit serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Rajan Shahi under his banner Directors’ Kut Productions, recently talked about the show, highlighting how it blends old traditions with modern storytelling, stating that without such efforts, our rich traditions risk being forgotten.
Sandeep said, “Our show highlights the Indian traditions in a simple and modern manner. Thus enriching the present generations to know about our culture and ethos. Fans have a lot of opinions about the love stories and family drama in the show.”
He added, “I have always been a caring and family-orientated person.” Further, Sandeep shared that he loves to hear feedback on social media and said, “I really love to see the comments and the instant feedback of fans. Sometimes it does get caustic, but mostly it’s nice and pleasant to read.”
Talking about the current track of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the actor said, “Armaan has left the Poddar house, and I’m happy that he is finally with people who genuinely care about him. His real mother and Abhira love him unconditionally and will always wish well for him. Jahan tak Madhav ka sawal hai, he wanted to leave with them, but he has to think about the family and Vidya too. Yes, if he decides to break ties with Vidya, then he is free to go and live with Shivani. Or else Shivani comes to stay in the Poddar house as Arman’s mother will also be an interesting turn. Let’s see what the writers have in mind.”
