Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): During difficult times such as childbirth, illness, disability or the loss of a loved one, people often feel helpless. Sambal Yojana provides support in need during such challenging moments, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said, while addressing the distribution programme, on Friday.
The CM virtually addressed labour families after transferring Rs 505 crore to the accounts of more than 23k families under the Yojana with a single click. He interacted with labour families and emphasised that hardworking labourers are the foundation of the state’s progress.
He stated that diligence enhances skills and paves way for a brighter future for next generation. Labour, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that the Yojana was launched in 2018.
It is a lifeline for those in need. So far, beneficiaries have received Rs 5,927 crore under the scheme. The scheme provides Rs 4 lakh for accidental death of a labourer, Rs 2 lakh for natural death, Rs 2 lakh for permanent disability and Rs 1 lakh for partial permanent disability.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Mohan Yadav said all universities should start medical college in their area. State government will make arrangement for affiliating hospitals with them. Government will bear the salary and allowances of these hospitals.

Yadav was addressing the felicitation function held by Madhya Pradesh Vishwavidyalaya Sanyukt Sangarsh Samiti on Barkatullah University premises on Friday.
He added that universities would make arrangement of teaching, exam and exam fee could be used in medical college and varsity’s operation, management and expansion.
He said universities were becoming empowered. In the coming time, they will become financially sound. Universities are being encouraged to run courses as per the current need along with running the traditional courses.
Asserting that government is taking care of interests of government employees and pensioners, he said government was working on innovation to give new dimensions to higher education. Barkatullah University VC Professor SK Jain was also present at the function.
