Mirzapur, 26 November (HIST). Constitution Day was org.zed on Tuesday at the district office of Bharatiya Janata Party, Pt. Deendayalpuram Colony, Barodha Kachar. The program started with garlanding the portrait of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. During this, the speakers threw light on his life and the contribution he made in the making of the Constitution.
Chief guest Vipul Singh, Vice Chairman of District Cooperative Bank, credited Baba Saheb for providing equality and respect to the deprived and backward classes of India. He said that through the Constitution Baba Saheb ensured the rights of all religions and citizens.
The program was presided over by Scheduled Morcha District President Rajesh Kumar and conducted by District Minister BJP Hemant Tripathi. On this occasion, District General Secretary Dinesh Verma, District Minister Kaushal Srivastava, Pichda Morcha District President Ramkumar Vishwakarma, Kisan Morcha District General Secretary Nageshwar Tiwari and other prominent officials and workers were present.
