Rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s much-anticipated documentary, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, premiered on December 20, 2024 on Netflix. In the documentary, he talked about his rise to fame, struggles with bipolar disorder, fall from the spotlight, and comeback. During the 1 hour 20 minutes documentary, Honey revealed creating a rap for Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, for the song Let’s Dance Chotu Motu.

In the documentary, Honey was heard saying, “Salman Khan has sent me this song. This song is made, and he wants me to rap in it. He is shooting for the song in the next two days. I have gotten this opportunity to sing this song, and he has also asked me if I want to rap in this song. So, we will see.”

Further, Honey was shown composing the rap for Let’s Dance Chotu Motu and brainstorming the lyrics with his team during the documentary.

Later, Salman made an appearance in the documentary, stating that he was shooting for the film in Hyderabad, he had the idea for Honey Singh to create the rap for the song.

“He went to the studio, and in half an hour, he finished the rap. Then I requested Honey to come and be in the song with us. It’s a really cool song for kids,” said Salman.

Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous is directed by Mozez Singh, known for directing the series Human, and produced by Oscar-winning Sikhya Entertainment, led by Guneet Monga.
