Saif Ali Khan attack case: On the morning of 16 January, news came that Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife at his Bandra house. The actor was then admitted to the hospital. The police also took immediate action in this case and registered a case and started investigation. A few days later, accused Mohammad Shariful Islam was arrested from Thane on charges of robbery. Now the police has filed a charge sheet of more than 1613 pages in Bandra Court.

The police have made several revelations in this charge sheet and include the statement of actress Kareena Kapoor, wife of Saif Ali Khan, in which the actress has revealed the whole incident that night. Kareena said, ‘The day the incident happened, I met my friend Riya Kapoor and returned home at 1:20 pm. At around two o’clock in the night, Jeh’s grandmother came out of the room screaming. He told that a man entered the room with a knife. He is demanding money. Hearing this, Saif and I immediately ran towards Jeh’s room, we saw the accused there.
Saif tried to catch the attacker
Regarding this incident, Kareena Kapoor further said, ‘Saif Ali Khan asked the thief who he is? what do you want? After this, the fight between Saif and the attacker started. Saif tried to catch him, but he attacked Saif’s neck, back and hand. Then another grandmother Geeta came for help, but the attacker attacked her as well. Due to which he got hurt in his hand.
I ran to 12th floor with my children: Kareena Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor said, ‘When the attacker attacked Saif, I shouted loudly… take Jehba out quickly… After this I quickly ran into a room on the 12th floor with Jeh, Taimur and Nani Alima. After a while Saif also came into the room. I saw that Saif’s clothes were stained with blood. Not only this, there were deep wounds on his back and neck. Seeing this, everyone got scared.
Saif was not ready to leave the attacker.
Kareena further said in her statement, ‘Saif was looking for the attacker everywhere, after which our servants Hari, Ramu, Ramesh and Paswan came for help. We all tried to find the attacker, but he was not found anywhere. Since Saif’s treatment was more important at that time, I said leave all this, first go down, go to the hospital. After this, we all got down from the lift to save our lives.
Hari Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital in an auto rickshaw, Timur was also with him. Later I contacted my sister Karishma Kapoor and manager Poonam Damania for help. My manager’s husband Tejas Damania informed the police. Officers arrived and searched the house but no clue of the attacker was found.
