Saif Ali Khan’s health condition is improving after the knife attack at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. Earlier there were reports that he would be discharged from the hospital today, but according to the latest report, he is not being sent home yet. The reason behind this is said to be the risk of infection. After the surgery, Saif was shifted from the ICU to another ward, and a hospital team is currently taking care of him. Family members and close friends are constantly reaching the hospital to meet him.

In a report by ETimes, hospital doctor Neeraj Uttamani has confirmed that Saif will not be discharged today. According to other reports, it will take some time for him to fully recover, and he will be kept in the hospital for now to avoid infection. At present, Saif’s condition is fine and he is recovering quickly. Official information will be given soon by the family and the hospital.

Meanwhile, the accused in the attack on Saif Ali Khan has been identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, aged 30. Mumbai Police has arrested him from Thane. According to the police, the accused is a Bangladeshi national who had come to India six months ago. However, the accused’s lawyer has rejected this claim and said that Shehzad has been living in Mumbai with his family for the last seven years.

At the time of arrest, the police did not recover any weapon from the accused. Police said that the accused had paid for paratha and water bottle at a stall in Worli using Google Pay, from which his mobile number was found and he was traced and arrested. The accused has confessed his crime to the police.
