In a shocking new development in Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case, it has been suspected that the attacker had conducted a recce of Shah Rukh Khan’s Bandra residence Mannat, two days before entering the Omkara actor’s house.
According to a report in India Today, Mumbai Police suspected that the intruder who stabbed Saif recced Mannat on January 14. Reportedly, a team of police also visited Shah Rukh’s residence to investigate the matter.
The report further mentioned that police sources reported suspicious activity near Mannat as a person was seen attempting to access the premises by positioning a 6-8-feet iron ladder at the rear of the retreat house adjoining Mannat.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police, on Friday (January 17), detained the prime suspect in the actor’s case. He has now been taken to the Bandra police station for questioning. Further details about the stabber is not known yet.
His first CCTV visual surfaced on Thursday evening, nearly 15 hours after the attack. In the footage, the suspect can be seen walking down the stairs through the fire exit with a backpack.
Saif was attacked at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, in the wee hours of Thursday after he tried to protect his family members and house help during a robbery bid.

The intruder fled after the incident at Saif’s 12th-floor residence in the Satguru Sharan building. The actor’s representatives termed it an ‘attempted burglary’.
Following surgery, Saif’s team stated he is out of danger, recovering under medical supervision, and the police investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, several celebrities like Jr NTR, Parineeti Chopra, Raveena Tandon, Pooja Bhatt, Chiranjeevi, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ravi Kishan have wished Saif a speedy recovery.
