Actor Saif Ali Khan recounted a terrifying attack on his family, describing how an intruder, Shariful, entered the child’s room and held the child captive. The incident occurred in Saif’s apartment at Sadguru Sharan, and the police are investigating the matter.
“I could not bear to see the attacker, who had entered the child’s room and tightly held him to prevent him from running away. When I tried to intervene, he pulled out a knife and attacked me, forcing me to loosen my grip,” actor Saif Ali Khan stated in his police statement. Saif further mentioned that the attacker, Shariful, had been trapped in the child’s room to prevent him from escaping the house, but he managed to flee.
The police have recorded statements from everyone present during the attack that occurred in the building at Sadguru Sharan. They have also taken a statement from Saif Ali Khan, who returned home after receiving treatment for his injuries.
According to Saif’s statement, the eleventh-floor apartment has three bedrooms. “Kareena and I stay in one bedroom, Taimur stays in the second room, and Jehangir and his caretakers, Aliamah Philip, Junu and Geeta occupy the third room. After midnight, we heard Aliamah shouting from Jehangir’s room. Kareena and I rushed to the room and were shocked to see the attacker. He became more aggressive upon seeing us,” Saif said, as per police sources.
