After climbing the stairs till the seventh and eighth floors, he reached the 12th floor with the help of a pipe and entered Saif Ali Khan’s flat through the bathroom window.

The incident started when the actor’s staff saw the accused leaving the bathroom. During the argument that followed, the accused demanded Rs 1 crore from the actor. Meanwhile, Saif tried to catch him, due to which the fight escalated further.

Shariful Islam Shahzad, said to be a resident of Jhalakathi district, was living in Mumbai for the last five months. He used to meet his expenses by doing housekeeping agency and other small jobs.
