Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): SAI CRC Bhopal hosted a Fit India Sundays on Cycle event, bringing together athletes, coaches, staff, and members of the Cycling Association of Bhopal. This event not only emphasized the importance of fitness but also marked the conclusion of the Fit India Women’s Week, aligning with the celebration of International Women’s Day.
The occasion featured special highlights, including Pink Sundays on Cycle, which showcased and celebrated the incredible achievements of female cyclists. The event was officially flagged off by the Regional Director of SAI CRC Bhopal, Abhishek Singh Chauhan. This event saw overall participation of over 250 cyclists and fitness enthusiasts across Bhopal.
A major highlight of the event was the celebration of Pink Sundays on Cycle in honor of International Women’s Day. Female cyclists were felicitated for their dedication, hard work, and contribution to the sport. SAI CRC Bhopal felicitated the inspiring women, whose accomplishments in cycling serve as a powerful example of strength, perseverance, and empowerment. The female cyclists shared their personal journeys and expressed their views on fitness and health.
The event also marked the conclusion of the Fit India Women’s Week, which aimed to highlight the significance of women’s participation in fitness and sports. It was a fitting tribute to the strength and spirit of women who are breaking barriers and setting new benchmarks in the field of sports and fitness. Under SAI RC Bhopal similar nine Sundays on Cycle events are being held across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh including Jabalpur, Dhar, Tikamgarh, Shivpuri, Ujjain, Raipur, Rajnandgaon and Bhilai.
