Jaishankar’s statement on India-China relations

Jaishankar was also asked what kind of relationship India wants with China. To this, he replied that relations between India and China are very unique.

Both of us are the two largest population countries in the world.
Our civilizations and history are thousands of years old.
We are directly neighbors and have seen many ups and downs in mutual relations.

He said that as a country progresses economically and strategically, it changes balance with its neighbors and the world. The challenge is how to create a permanent balance.

India wants relations between the two countries to remain stable and respectable.
