A cancer detection camp ie. Screening for Oro-Pharyngeal cancers for all the employees and Screening for Breast Cancer and cervical cancer for women employees and their dependants was organised at Railway Hospital, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bengaluru in association with HCG Hospital on March 21, 2025.
The progamme started with cancer awareness talk by Dr. Sreenivas. B. J, MD, DNB, (Medical Oncology), Consultant Medical Oncologist/HCG Hospital on various aspects of cancer prevention with Indian perspective. The talk was attended by Dr. V.V. Ajith Kumar, PCMO and other Senior Doctors of Railway Hospital, RWF. Consultants from HCG, Bengaluru, members of RWF Women’s Welfare Organisation and employees of RWF were also present.
Employees, retired employees and their dependents availed the facility of the camp.
