The RSS has passed a resolution at the All India House of Representatives and appealed to unite with the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The proposal said that it is similar to that the religious aspects of the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh are ignored by the truth, because most of the victims belong to the Hindus and other minority communities. The United Nations intervention was called at the meeting of the House of Representatives.
The All India Representative Assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has passed a resolution against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and called for a solidarity with the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The RSS has demanded intervention from the United Nations on the issue.
Human rights are being violated against minorities.
The resolution passed by the House of Representatives states that human rights are being violated against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh, on which the Representative Assembly expresses its concern. The Hindu population in Bangladesh has come down from 22 percent to 7 percent in 1951.
Most of the victims in Bangladesh are Hindus.
It states that, ‘Many incidents like monasteries, temples, Durga Puja pandals and educational institutions, insults, murders, property, robbery, kidnapping and atrocities on them, rape, forcibly conversion etc. are constantly coming to light during the existing power uproar in Bangladesh. Describing these incidents only as political and denying their religious aspects will be similar to avoiding truth, as most of the victims are from Hindus and other minority communities.
Appeal for intervention from United Nations
The proposal states that, ‘Some international powers are deliberately trying to create an atmosphere of mistrust and struggle in the neighboring areas of India and to create instability by making one country against the other. The House of Representatives believes that international organizations such as United Nations and global community should take inhuman behavior with Hindu and other minority communities in Bangladesh seriously and pressurize the Bangladesh government to prevent these violent activities.
