An important statement of senior Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Suresh ‘Bhaiyaji’ Joshi has come out in the demand of some right -wing organizations to remove the grave of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. He said on Monday that the issue is being raised unnecessarily. In response to a question of journalists during an event in Nagpur, he said that anyone who will have faith will definitely go to his tomb in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra.
What did Bhaiyaji Joshi say on Aurangzeb controversy?
When asked on the issue of the Mughal emperor’s mausoleum, Joshi said, “The issue of Aurangzeb’s mausoleum is unnecessarily raised. He died here (in India), so a tomb is built here on his grave. Those who have faith will go there.” He further said that our ideal Chhatrapati is Shivaji Maharaj, he built the tomb of Afzal Khan. It is a symbol of India’s generosity and inclusion. Aurangzeb’s tomb will remain where he is and anyone who wants to go there can go.

Bhaiyaji Joshi also reacted to PM Modi’s visit to Maharashtra. Prime Minister Modi visited the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on 30 March. He said that the program of March 30 was good.
In the Korona period, he was interested in his service. He worked to give energy during the Korona period. The foundation stone ceremony of Madhav Eye Hospital was done by him. This project will be completed soon.
