Delhi: The Delhi Capitals team, which faced defeat at home for the first time after the spectacular start of the session, would like to leave behind the defeat in the match against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL match on Wednesday. After winning four consecutive matches, the Delhi team led by Akshar Patel lost to Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. After this defeat, Delhi slipped from the top position to the second place. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are at eighth position by winning only two out of six matches.

The team captained by Sanju Samson has not been able to perform well. Domestic cricket legendary Karun Nair scored 89 runs in his debut match against Mumbai Indians in his debut match for Delhi. At one time Delhi score was 119 for 1 wicket in the 11th over, but soon after that he lost his last nine wickets for 74 runs. Three batsmen were run out of the last three balls of the 19th over and lost by 12 runs.

Delhi does not have time to mourn this defeat as he has to play a match against Royals two days later. Once again, spinners can be the key to Delhi’s success. Despite losing the previous match, Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam performed brilliantly. However, the letters have not been able to impress much and have been deprived of the wicket despite bowling 14 overs in six matches. Apart from this, he has given more than 10 runs per over. He has not been able to leave an impact in batting. Jack Fraser McGark, who performed in the previous season last season, is not in the form and has been able to score only 46 runs so far.

Karun Nair is confirmed in the team.

Faf du Plessis is out due to injury and the place in Nair’s team looks confirmed. KL Rahul has commanded the middle order. He has the support of Triston Stabs, Ashutosh Sharma and Corporation. On the other hand, the problem of Royals lacks continuity in performance. Yashasvi Jaiswal could only score a half -century in the last match against RCB. Captain Samson has not been able to play a single good innings so far, while Ryan Parag and Dhruv Juril’s batsmen have also remained calm. Jofra Archer has been an expensive bowler. Except Sandeep Sharma, no bowler has managed to stop the run speed.
