Shoolini University and Royal Holloway, University of London, have signed a collaborative agreement to launch a 1+1 Dual Master’s Degree Program for the 2025/26 academic year. This MOU enables students to split their master’s-level studies between India and the UK, graduating with a dual degree that significantly enhances their global career prospects.

Professor Julie Sanders, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Royal Holloway, University of London, stressed the significance of this collaboration in establishing research-driven learning opportunities and developing a global education network.

The program’s structure allows students to spend their first year at Shoolini University in India, followed by a second year at Royal Holloway in the UK. This “1+1” model opens doors for Shoolini University students to join specified postgraduate courses at Royal Holloway, provided they meet the predefined entry requirements.

As per Professor Atul Khosla, Vice-Chancellor, Shoolini University, this collaboration will ensure that students are offered world-class education and research opportunities, which is a landmark achievement for the university to establish a global learning ecosystem.

This partnership is in line with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which promotes international academic partnerships. The program will initially provide interdisciplinary learning experiences in Biotechnology/Biosciences and Psychology, with further expansion into other areas.

Through the synergy of the academic strengths of both institutions, this partnership has the potential to provide a distinctive and enriching learning experience for students, equipping them for success in a more globalised world.
