Haridwar, 2 December (HS). Know India competition was organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Uttarakhand West Province at Haridwar University, Roorkee. Haridwar University Chancellor Satyendra Gupta, who participated as the chief guest, said that while the girl students have to advance by getting educated for a bright future, they will also have to advance their art and talent by participating in sports and other competitions.
In the hospitality of the main branch Roorkee, Know India Competition “Bharatgyo Bhava” under the chairmanship of Provincial President Nisha Aggarwal, President of both the branches Anil Jain and Preeti Aggarwal welcomed everyone. Program supervisor Alok Bhatnagar was the regional secretary environment. The program was conducted by Regional Secretary Liaison Dr. Satyendra Mittal. Sixteen branches of the province participated in this competition.
In the senior category, Ayush Rawat and Simran of Yogi Mangalnath Roorkee, Sampark branch, Roorkee stood first and in the junior category, Aarav Bisht and Ekaksh of Baluni Public School, Shakuntalam branch, Kotdwar stood first. Both these teams will represent the province in the Know India competition to be held at the regional level. Sugandh Jain, Mamta Chandra, Pankaj Garg, Rajni, Radhika, Pradeep Aggarwal played the role of jury. Regional Joint Secretary Sharad Chandra, Regional Secretary Service Brijprakash Gupta, Meenakshi Aggarwal, Lalit Pandey along with National Executive Women Participation members Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Ravindra Kapoor, Manisha Singhal, Anil Maheshwari etc. were prominently present.
