Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma was seen having a fun conversation with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka after the IPL 2025 game on Friday at the Ekana International Stadium. In a video shared by LSG on social media, Rohit was heard saying to Goenka, ‘Sir, why worry when you have Lord?’
Even before the game, Rohit and Shardul were seen having a hilarious conversation when the former mocked the bowling all-rounder for calling himself ‘The Lord’. In turn, Shardul told Rohit that he was the one, who gave him that name.

Rohit Sharma missed the game against the Lucknow Super Gaints due to knee injury
Meanwhile, the former Mumbai Indians skipper had notably missed the game on Friday as Hardik Pandya revealed at the toss that Rohit suffered a knee injury during one of the practice sessions before the match. However, the 37-year-old was equally involved during the game and even offered the players with advice during one of the strategic time-outs.
Shardul, meanwhile, played an important role in the home side picking up a 12-run win. The 33-year-old picked up the wicket of Ryan Rickelton with the new ball and went on to bowl the penultimate over of the innings, conceding only seven runs to leave Mumbai Indians to get 22 runs off the final six deliveries.
With an imposing 204 to chase down on a tricky surface, the five-time champions fell 12 runs short despite a half-century from Suryakumar Yadav.
