Team India captain and Mumbai Indians star Rohit Sharma was clearly unimpressed with the fans as they tried to click a picture of him and his daughter at the Mumbai Airport on March 17, Monday. The right-handed batter was heard saying ‘Aye, Aye, Aye’ to the fans as he returned from the vacation at Maldives.
The 37-year-old did come to India, a day after captaining the Men in Blue to Champions Trophy 2025 victory in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, the star cricketer flew to Maldives for a short vacation with his wife Ritika and daughter Samaira. Nevertheless, Rohit was clearly unhappy as the cameras tried to capture him and his daughter at the airport.

Mumbai Indians had a forgettable IPL 2024
Meanwhile, the five-time champions had a forgettable IPL season last year as they finished at the bottom of the table with four wins in 14 games. Although all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been retained as captain, the franchise has replaced Mark Boucher with Mahela Jayawardene as coach.
Rohit, nevertheless, had a decent season with the bat in 2024, aggregating 417 runs and will be keen to build on it this year.
