Saagat Roy on Rohit Sharma: There has been an uproar over the controversial statement made by Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammed’s Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. After questioning Rohit Sharma’s fitness, the Congress removed Shama’s tweet. But now Trinamool Congress MP Saugat Roy has come out in support of Shama Mohammad and has reacted strongly to the matter.

MP Saugat Roy gave strong response

In this case, TMC MP Saugat Roy said, ‘I completely agree with what was said about Rohit Sharma. Shama Mohammad said this not as a politician but as an audience. How many days off will Rohit Sharma get? He has scored a century once in two years and he has been dismissed for 2, 5, 10 and 20 runs.

Weight has no importance.

Saugat Roy said, ‘Rohit Sharma should neither get a place in the team nor should be made captain. Whatever the Congress leader has said is absolutely true. He does not care about his weight at all. These people only become models in advertisements. “You don’t become a model in the game.”

Jasprit Bumrah can be a good captain

Saugata Roy was asked, ‘Which player does you play well?’ So Roy said, ‘Recently there have been many new players in the Indian cricket team who are playing well. If you look at fitness, Jasprit Bumrah can be a good captain. He is currently injured and not playing. In new boys, boys like Shreyas can also become captain, but Rohit should not get a place in the team.

Know what Shama Mohammed said

Commenting on Rohit Sharma, Congress spokesperson Dr. Shama Mohammad said in a social media post, ‘Rohit is obese as a player. He needs to lose weight and yes, he is the most disappointing captain of India ever. ‘

After the Congress leader Dr. controversy escalated, Shama Mohammad clarified on his post, saying, “My tweet was a common tweet about a player’s fitness.” In which no one’s obesity is made fun of. I have always believed that a player should be fit and I think Rohit Sharma weighs a little more. So I tweeted about this. I am being targeted without any reason. I compared them to the former captain and this is my right. What is wrong with saying this? This is democracy.
