Mumbai Indians’ batting star Rohit Sharma poked fun at Lucknow Super Giants’ bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur during a practice session at the Ekana Stadium ahead of locking horns on April 4, Friday. In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians on social media, Rohit hilariously mocked Shardul for calling himself ‘The Lord’.
Over the years, several memes have floated around Shardul’s performances for India and the IPL due to his ability to provide breakthroughs out of nowhere. The Palghar-born cricketer has also chipped in with vital contributions with the bat, notably playing a vital role in Team India’s Test series victory over Australia in the 2020-21 leg.

Shardul notably earned the Player of the Match award against the SunRisers Hyderabad for taking figures of 4-0-34-4 as the Super Giants won by five wickets, chasing down 191 comfortably.
