The Uttar Pradesh government is now going to make roads a symbol of modern urban development, not just the means of movement. Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, 10 major roads in Kanpur district will be made completely rebuilt and smart. These roads will soon become ‘ideal roads’ – where there will be greenbelt, attractive lights and completely encroachment -free routes.
Municipal corporation started work, started from Nawabganj Road
On Friday, cleaning of the greenbelt on the banks of Nawabganj road was started under the leadership of Executive Engineer (Environment) Diwakar Bhaskar of the Municipal Corporation. This work is an important step towards making Kanpur clean, beautiful and smart.
The Municipal Commissioner told that:
- All marked roads will be freed from encroachment.
- Street lights will be repaired and upgraded.
- A new structure of Greenbelt will be created, where the land will be available.
10 major roads will be developed as ideal roads
With the joint efforts of the Municipal Corporation, District Administration and Police, 10 roads below have been selected, which will be decorated with modern infrastructure and smart facilities:
