Kishanganj, 28 November (Hindustan Reporter). Under the leadership of RJD District President cum former MLA Kamrul Hooda, RJD workers held a one-day protest near Ambedkar Town Hall on Thursday regarding caste reservation. This protest by RJD is being org.zed in 38 districts of Bihar. In which the attention of the state government was drawn to implement 65% reservation for Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Most Backward Classes and Backward Classes. RJD District President said that the kind of work that the Central Government and the State Government of Bihar are doing on their anti-constitutional thinking and mentality, it seems that the government is working cunningly. The government is abolishing the reservation quota and wants to end the reservation of jobs for Dalits, Bahujans and backward classes. Rashtriya Janata Dal will continue to fight the battle of these classes like before and will take it to the complete end. He said that when Tejashwi Yadav was the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, as promised, on his initiative, the reservation limit was increased to 65 percent in view of the socio-economic condition of the castes in the caste survey.

When this case was going on in the High Court, the state government did not take it seriously and did not fight it properly due to which the High Court put a stay on it, then the Rashtriya Janata Dal filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Every RJD worker is determined to risk his life to fight for the rights of the deprived people. He said that the aim of the government is to bring down Dalits, Bahujans and tribals to the lower ranks by imposing the intermediate system of RSS and BJP and classifying them on the basis of religion. RJD says that this country belongs to everyone. There may be differences in clothes, food and religion but we were always one and will remain one. This is the identity of our unity in diversity. We will continue to fight to save and increase the reservation for Dalits, the deprived and the most backward. Rashtriya Janata Dal demands that the increased reservation limit should be implemented in Bihar as soon as possible and the BJP government at the Center should include it in the Ninth Schedule.
