RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav did the investigation, extortion and criminal cases were investigating in court

RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav, who is counted among the famous Bahubalis of Patna, surrendered in Danapur court on Thursday. Recently, Patna Police raided 11 of his locations regarding extortion and other criminal cases. Amid the activism of the police, Ritlal Yadav along with his brother Pinku Yadav and colleagues reached the court and surrendered.

Among those who surrendered in Danapur court were Chikku Yadav, Pinku Yadav, Shravan Yadav and other colleagues. A day earlier, the BJP called Ritlal absconding on social media.

Police action and recovery

On April 11, the Patna Police and STF team raided 11 locations associated with the MLA. During this period, about Rs 10.5 lakh cash, 14 suspected documents of land, 17 checkbooks, 5 stamp paper, 6 pen drives, and a walkie-talkie were seized.

The MLA is accused of demanding extortion of Rs 50 lakh from a builder. Apart from this, cases are registered against him in sections like preparing fake documents, forcibly recovery and threatening to kill him.

MLA’s wife allegations – action motivated by politics

The MLA’s wife Rinku Devi made serious allegations against the police. He said that the police tried to introduce and torture the family by entering the house. He also claimed that this action is part of political vengeance and pleaded for justice from the Chief Minister.

Criminal background and political journey

Ritlal Yadav’s name has been associated with criminal activities for a long time. In the year 2003, his name was also revealed in the murder of BJP leader Satnarayan Yadav. In 2016, he became a member of the Legislative Council while in jail and won the assembly elections after being released on bail in 2020 and became an MLA.

Recently, Patna High Court acquitted him in an old case, but now he is also investigating the money laundering on him.
