Indian and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hard-hitting batter Rinku Singh has made a hefty investment of ₹1.9 crore in a sports nutrition startup named BeastLife, which is currently valued at ₹120 crore. The funds will be deployed in expanding the brand in the aspect of product line, enhance R&D, and scale distribution, ultimately boosting the fitness level of the athletes.
Rinku, who made a name for himself by hitting a freakish five sixes in the last five deliveries during the IPL 2023 game against the Gujarat Titans to lead the Knight Riders to a win, made his debut for India that year. The southpaw also averages a healthy 42 in 33 T20Is, scoring 546 runs with three half-centuries alongside a strike rate of 161.06.
Addressing his decision to invest in the brand, Rinku said he wishes to make sports nutrition accessible for India. The southpaw claimed, as quoted by Entrepreneur India:
“BeastLife stands for something bigger than just supplements. It’s about creating the finest products with top-quality ingredients, backed by science and integrity. What really drew me in was the brand’s vision to make world-class sports nutrition accessible in India. That’s something I believe in deeply and am proud to support.”
