Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Infosys Recruitment Pool Drive for female students of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) and its affiliated colleges began on Thursday. Approximately 1,400 female B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, and MCA students will be participating. However, the first round of the recruitment process will be held at a private college instead of the RGPV campus.

The first round of the recruitment process is a computer-based online test. According to sources, RGPV lacks sufficient infrastructure to accommodate a large-scale test involving this many candidates in a single day.

According to information, participants from across Madhya Pradesh are vying for software engineer positions through a structured selection process. Successful candidates in the computer-based test will proceed to the interview round, scheduled to take place on January 10 at the RGPV campus. Registrar Dr. Mohan Sen clarified that the decision to conduct the first round outside the campus was made with the Vice Chancellor’s approval but without informing the Registrar’s office.

The issue of insufficient infrastructure is not new for RGPV, as the university is also compelled to conduct PhD entrance exams offline. Students were notified about the drive’s venue details only on January 6, following an email invitation sent on December 12 and applications closing on December 18.
