Vrindavan, where there is always an influx of devotees and Krishna lover comes to visit temples amidst the shouts of Radhe-Radhe, now there is a big relief news for him. Devotees of Banke Bihari will no longer have to go through long and difficult paths for their darshan. To make this journey easier, a plan has been prepared to build a new bypass in Vrindavan, which will make the journey of devotees quite simple.
Plan to connect Yamuna Expressway and National Highway
The National Highway Authority (NHAI) has approved the plan to connect Vrindavan to the Yamuna Expressway and National Highway connecting Vrindavan to Greater Noida and Agra. Under this scheme, Vrindavan bypass will be constructed, which will work to connect the Yamuna Expressway to the National Highway. Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been approved for the construction of this bypass. NHAI has informed the Principal Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department by sending a letter in this regard.
The purpose and benefits of the bypass
This bypass has been planned to connect Yamuna Expressway with National Highway-19 near Chhatikara. This scheme has been prepared by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad. After the construction of this bypass, vehicles going from National Highway-19 towards Yamuna Expressway and from Yamuna Expressway towards National Highway-19 will not have to enter Vrindavan. This simply means that devotees and other passengers will be able to move on their way without entering Vrindavan, which will make their journey very easy.
Features of Vrindavan bypass
This Vrindavan bypass will be the first bypass that connects the National Highway to the Yamuna Expressway. Currently, there is no bypass on the Yamuna Expressway between Greater Noida to Agra, which connects it to a national highway. This bypass will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1645.72 crore. This bypass will start from 129.320 km and connect at 101.200 km of Yamuna Expressway. The total length of the bypass will be 15.40 km, and it is expected that the construction of this bypass will solve the traffic problem in Vrindavan.
Solve traffic problem in Vrindavan
The biggest relief will be due to the problem of jam due to the construction of Vrindavan bypass, which has been a major problem for the devotees coming to Vrindavan for years. Devotees will be able to reach their destination without any interruption through this bypass, which will not only simplify their journey, but will also have a positive impact on Vrindavan’s traffic.
