Attack on Saif Ali Khan: Some people are trying to give a communal color to the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan by linking it to the Hindu-Muslim angle. Now NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui’s reaction on this issue has come to light. Zeeshan said that it is not right to give communal color to such events. This is definitely a matter of law and order. One should see what is happening in Mumbai especially Bandra. But giving it a communal color is not right.
While talking to the media, Zeeshan Siddiqui said, ‘I understand the situation when someone loses his life, this has happened in my family too. When someone is attacked, it should not be seen whether he is a Hindu or a Muslim. Every citizen of the country should be protected and law and order should be maintained.
The law and order situation in Mumbai is not the same as before.
The NCP leader said, ‘The law and order situation in Bandra and Mumbai is no longer the same as before. Many people are asking questions. Something must be done. I am confident that the Chief Minister and Home Minister of our government will take strict action in this regard.
In October, Zeeshan’s father and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead. Police have so far arrested 26 people in this case and three people are absconding. The attackers are being linked to Lawrence Bishnoi lodged in Gujarat jail.
Fadnavis-Zeeshan reached hospital after attack on father
Referring to the incident that happened with his father, Zishan said, ‘CM Fadnavis has been a close friend of my father. When his father was attacked, he also came to the hospital along with the then Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Ajit Dada also came. Devendra Fadnavis said, “Zeeshan, don’t worry at all. Baba, along with being your father, has also been my friend.”
