Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited i.e. ONGC has released more than 100 vacancies for AEE and Geophysicist, for which applications have been invited. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of ONGC, ongcindia.com. The application process for this has started from January 10 and the last date to apply is January 24, 2025. Whereas the examination will be conducted on 23 February 2025. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 108 posts will be filled in ONGC.

AEE (Production) Mechanical – 11 Posts

AEE (Drilling) Mechanical – 23 Posts

AEE (Drilling) Petroleum – 6 Posts

AEE (Mechanical) – 6 Posts

AEE (Electrical) – 10 posts

What will be the educational qualification?

Educational Qualification- To apply for the post of Geologist, the candidate must have Post Graduate in Geology with minimum 60% marks or M.Sc or M.Tech degree in Petroleum Geoscience with minimum 60% marks. Whereas, for AEE posts, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 60 percent marks. Age Limit- To apply for these posts, the age limit of the candidates should be between 26 years to 42 years which also includes age relaxation as per the rules of reserved category.

What will be the application fee?

The application fee for General/EWS/OBC category candidates is Rs 1000, while SC/ST/PWBD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Fee has to be paid through online mode.

Candidate Selection Process:-

The selection process for these posts in ONGC involves Computer Based Examination (Objective Type). It consists of four sections, General Awareness, Subject Related, English Language and Aptitude Test of total 2 hours duration. CBT scores will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates in the ratio of 1:5 for further selection process of Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management. Then shortlisted candidates will be selected through group discussion.
