Football club Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti looks to have been involved in a bus crash on the motorway following a defeat to Liverpool. A video of M40 circulated on social media as it could be seen carrying by a truck. Reportedly, no staff and players were onboard.

According to Mirror UK, teams fly back home after any European fixture. However, the coach would still need to be driven back to Madrid through M40 from the North West to the coast. Warwickshire Police statement read:

“Our officers responded to reports of a collision involving a car, a lorry, and the coach of a well-known football team on the M40 southbound between junction 16 for Hockley Heath and junction 15 for Warwick. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured. The players from the well-known football team were not on the coach at the time.”

Below is the video of the truck dragging the team bus:

Kylin Mbappe struggles continued with his new club as he missed a penalty shot, causing Real Madrid to go down 2-0 to Liverpool. Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo were the goal scorers from their side to fashion a resounding victory.

Not the first time that a Real Madrid coach has been involved in a crash:

Surprisingly, it’s not the first time that a coach belonging to Los Blancos has been involved in a crash as a similar incident took place in February, colliding with a White Toyota.

Meanwhile, here’s what Ancelotti said after the defeat, as quoted by The Mirror:

“We did okay in the first half, we held them and set up quite well and defended well as a unit. In transitions we were okay. But then we lost the ball and once we gained the ball we made the wrong decision going forward
