According to the official holiday list of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all banks across the country will be closed today i.e. on 26 April 2025.
Actually, today is the fourth Saturday of the month. According to the RBI guidelines, all banks in the country are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, while the first, third and fifth Saturdays are working days. In this context, bank branches will remain closed today.
However, digital banking services will continue despite the bank branches being closed. Customers can use online mediums such as Internet banking, mobile app, ATM and customer care helpline. Through these mediums you can easily do the balance check, transfer money, bill payment and other necessary transactions. Banking experts recommend that work like cash transactions should be tailored in advance so that there is no problem later.

There are some holidays in April in April, on which banks will remain closed in different states:
- April 29 (Tuesday): Lord Shri Parashuram Jayanti – Bank closed in Himachal Pradesh
- April 30 (Wednesday): Basav Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya – Bank closed in Karnataka
Keep in mind that Akshaya Tritiya is considered auspicious for wealth and prosperity, so banks related to banking should be planned in advance.
