In a thrilling IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, an unfortunate incident occurred when CSK players Matheesha Pathirana and Ravindra Jadeja collided while attempting to take a catch.

The collision happened in the 4th over of the match when Jadeja was fielding at short third-man and Pathirana was fielding at deep backward point. Both players were going for the catch of RCB’s Jacob Bethell, but unfortunately, they ended up colliding with each other.

Fortunately, both players seemed to be okay after the collision, and the incident didn’t result in any serious injuries. The catch was not taken, and Bethell continued to bat, but the incident highlighted the importance of communication and awareness among fielders.
