In addition, Rapido has introduced a new security feature where passengers can get information about safe travel from the Rapido call center after completing their journey between 10 PM and 6 AM.

Rapido is committed to provide best-in-class support to its Auto Captains through the ‘Auto Dost’ initiative, thereby strengthening its position as a competitive differentiator in the market.

As part of the ‘Auto Dost’ initiative, Rapido will be offering several benefits to its Captains. that’s how they are

  • The commission on each order will be less than ₹15. This ensures that the earning of the driver is maximized.
  • Cancellation charges for unlimited order cancellation will be ₹10. It facilitates the Captains in managing their rides.
  • In recognition of the Captain’s efforts to reach passengers early, a pick-up fee of ₹10 per ride will be charged.
  • A central establishment supporting the Captains is exclusively dedicated with the objective of prompt and efficient redressal of any queries or concerns of the Auto Captains.
  • To ensure satisfaction and success of the Auto Captains, Rapido aims to continuously enhance the benefits offered to the Captains under the ‘Auto Dost’ initiative.
  • Night ride inspection to ensure passenger safety: Rapido wishes to give priority to the safety of its passengers. To solve the problems of late night travel, Rapido has introduced ‘Night Ride Check’ feature in its app.
  • Passengers using Rapido services between 10 pm to 6 am will receive a call from the Rapido call center after completing their journey informing them about the safe journey.
  • This ‘Night Ride Check’ acts as an additional security measure. This will give peace of mind to the commuters during late night travel. The facility reflects Rapido’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its passengers at all times.

At the recent Awards and Recognition (R&R) event in Bangalore, Rapido announced the launch of new ‘Auto Dost’ and ‘Knight Rider’ initiatives. The event lauded the hard work and dedication of Bangalore Auto Captains, who played a major role in Rapido’s success in the city. Rapido’s 500th Auto Captain participated in Rapido’s rewards and recognition program.

 

Various gifts including a cash prize of ₹ 10 lakh were given to the auto captains based on the rides completed. Televisions and other gifts were distributed to the toppers in recognition of the continuous dedication of the auto captains in making as many trips as possible in the city.
