Bollywood power-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s baby girl Dua turned three months old on December 8, and to mark the special day, her grandmother Anju Bhavnani donated her hair to the ones in need. Anju got her hair chopped short and donated it as a gesture of kindness.

Anju took to her Instagram to give people a glimpse of her kind act. In the photos that have now gone viral, she can be seen holding the chopped length of her hair and smiling at the camera. “Happy 3rd month birthday my darling Dua. Marking this special day with gesture of love and hope,” she wrote.

She went on to state, “As we celebrate the joy and beauty of Dua growing up, we are also reminded of the power of goodness and kindness. Hoping that this small act might bring comfort and confidence to someone going through a difficult time.”

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their bundle of joy, Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024, six years after their wedding. Explaining the meaning of her name, the proud parents wrote on Instagram, “Dua: meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude (sic).”

Meanwhile, Ranveer clocked 14 years in Bollywood on Tuesday as it was on December 10 that his debut film, Band Baaja Baaraat released in theatres. The actor took to his Instagram stories to pen a note of gratitude.

“14 years since Band Baaja Baaraat. When my dreams became a reality #blessings #gratitude,” he wrote.

Ranveer will be next seen in Uri director Aditya Dhar’s untitled film, in which he will reportedly play the role of a RAW agent. The espionage thriller also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal in key roles.
