Mumbai – Podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia and Comedian time presented before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to record their statements in a case of promotion of vulgarity and indecent content at Raina India’s Got Talent Show.
Maharashtra Cyber Police issued three summons against Allahabadia and Raina. He was asked to appear before the investigating officer in Mumbai. Accordingly, they came to the Maharashtra Cyber Office in the Cuff Parade area of South Mumbai.
Earlier, Raina also recorded his statement before the Guwahati Crime Branch. This was confirmed by Joint Commissioner of Police Ankur Jain of Guwahati. The Guwahati police also questioned others associated with the show including YouTuber Ashish Chanchalani and Apoorva Makhija.
In India’s Got Talent Show, a contestant was asked pornographic questions about his parents. Which was very criticized on social media. Cases were registered in many police stations in this case. Allahabadia eventually apologized in public and admitted that his comment was unfair.
