Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who will turn 32 on March 15, kicked off her birthday celebrations with the media in Mumbai on Thursday. The actress greeted photographers, cut a beautiful two-tier birthday cake, and interacted with media persons before heading to Alibaug for a private celebration.
Joining her for the special moment was her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who stole the spotlight with a sweet gesture.
In a viral video, after Alia cut the cake, Ranbir playfully applied a bit of frosting on her nose. Alia scrunched her nose in reaction, making fans gush over the adorable moment. Ranbir then sealed the moment with a loving kiss on her forehead, leaving fans swooning over their chemistry.
Social media has been buzzing with pictures and videos from the celebration, with netizens calling the couple’s interaction ‘too cute to handle.’
Alia was all smiles as she cut the cake. Reacting to their video, a fan commented, “I don’t know why but it really makes me happy seeing them.”
Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their first child later that year. In November, their daughter Raha will turn three.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. According to media reports, major shoot of the film is completed. While the details of Love & War have been kept heavily under the wraps, the film is reportedly set against the backdrop of war, with Ranbir and Vicky reportedly playing Indian Army officers, while Alia might play a cabaret dancer.
Both Ranbir and Vicky have undergone a massive transformation for the film, and of late, they have been spotted flaunting a lean body and a neatly-trimmed military moustache.
Love & War is slated to hit the silver screens in Christmas 2025.
Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir will also share screen space in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra 2.
