Preview:

An in-form Delhi Capitals will meet the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 27, Sunday as both sides look to increase their chances of a top two finish at the end of the group stage of IPL 2025. The Capitals, who are in the 2nd position will square off against RCB, who are currently at the third spot.

RCB sparked a remarkable comeback against the Rajasthan Royals at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. The narrow 11-run triumph also proved to be their first home win of IPL 2025, with Virat Kohli’s form getting better with each game bringing in an added plus to RCB’s fortunes. However, they will remember the convincing defeat the Capitals handed them in their clash earlier this season.

Meanwhile, the Capitals have arguably been amongst the best sides of the season, captained expertly and shrewdly by Axar Patel. Along with the Gujarat Titans, Delhi have lost the least number of games in IPL 2025 with two of them and almost all their players have chipped in with vital contributions in their six victories thus far. A win for either of the teams on Sunday means they will have their win foot in the playoffs.
