Work starts, will be completed in four months
The NHC Wing of the State Construction Department (PWD) has started work on the scheme and has been targeted to be completed in the next four months. After the new road is built, this route will be directly connected to the Sariska elevated road, which will make the movement towards Jaipur more smooth and faster. Currently it takes 40 minutes to cover this distance of 14 km, but after the road widen, this journey can be completed in just 20 minutes.
This route is located on NH-248A
This route connected to Alwar city is located on NH-248A, which is very narrow and smaller than two lanes. Now the central government plans to develop it as an intermediate lane. The land of some villages has been acquired for this 14 km long road and farmers will be given proper compensation.
Widening will be done at a cost of Rs 88 crore
A total of Rs 88 crore will cost on road widening. It will also include additional expenses on land acquisition and compensation distribution. Currently this road is only 5.5 meters wide and is in quite shabby condition, but after expansion it will become more secure and smooth.
Road will be widened from Thanagaji to Mundavar turn
The project also includes the expansion of the road from Thanagaji to Mundavar Mor, which is 11.5 km in length. The expansion of this route will reduce the distance of Jaipur even more.
Elevated road will get direct connection
The proposal to construct an elevated road in Sariska is also under consideration, after which the road from Alwar to Natni will be directly connected. This proposal has been sent to the Central Government and currently the process of approval from the Forest Department is going on.
