Rajasthan News: Plan to develop 26 satellite towns in Rajasthan, will be spent 18 thousand crores

News India Live, Digital Desk: The Rajasthan government has prepared a proposal to develop a total of 26 satellite towns around six major cities including Jaipur, Jodhpur. There is a plan to spend around Rs 18,000 crore on the development and infrastructure improvement of these cities. Under this, satellite towns equipped with modern facilities will be made around big cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and Sikar.

There will be development in these areas

The plan to develop satellite town will strengthen road construction, drainage system, sewerage network and transport connectivity. There is a plan to seek assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for these works, and the state government has prepared to send the proposal to the Department of Economic Affairs (Department of Economic Affairs) of the Central Government for approval. The state government aims to take 70 percent of the total estimated expenditure as loan.

  • Jaipur: Shahpura, Dudu, Chaumun, Dausa, Bassi, Bagru, Chaksu, Jobner, Phulera
  • Sikar: Ringas, Srimadhopur, Khatushyamji
  • Jodhpur: Pipad City, Bilada, Sojat, Balesar Satin
  • Ajmer: Pushkar, Kishangarh, Beawar
  • quota: Bundi, Kathun, Keshoraipatan
  • Bharatpur: Kumher, Nagar, Nadbai, Deeg

Through this project, not only cities will develop, but employment opportunities will increase and economic investment will also be encouraged.
